Good to know

How much does a mountain bike guide cost?

Each guide sets their own prices – most listings show a starting price for a half day, full day or lesson. You pay the guide directly; MTB Guides never adds a fee.

Are all guides certified?

We only list guides with a recognised MTB guiding or instructor qualification (such as PMBIA, BICP, GSMBC, British Cycling, MCF or national diplomas). Guides upload their certificate to us privately.

Do I need my own bike?

Not always – many guides, schools and bike parks rent bikes or include one in the price. Check the listing or ask the guide.
