Yatsugatake Cycling (八ヶ岳サイクリング) runs Mountain Bike Tours in Yatsugatake from its cycling shop in Chino, Nagano, at the foot of the Yatsugatake mountains.
Tours
The half-day MTB taster (about two hours) costs ¥7,500 per person with bike, helmet and guide, or ¥6,500 with your own bike, for a minimum of two riders. The full-day trail ride (about six hours, with lunch) costs ¥10,800 for a solo rider or ¥8,800 per person for three or more, with rental ¥3,500 extra.
Mugikusa Pass downhill
The guided downhill from Mugikusa Pass (¥9,000) includes an uphill shuttle, rental bike and helmet, and runs from June to October.
