Bike park United States, North America

About

Whitefish Mountain Resort is on Big Mountain above the town of Whitefish in northwest Montana. Whitefish Bike Park has more than 23 miles of lift-accessed downhill and cross-country trails.

Trails

The trails are split into three zones: Bad Rock, B-Side and Summit. They drop more than 2,300 vertical feet down Big Mountain. There are options for new riders on the lower mountain and long, fast descents for experienced riders from the summit.

Tickets

Adult prices listed for 2026 were $62 for a full day on the whole mountain and $46 for two hours. A lower mountain ticket for Chair 10 only was $42. An adult season pass was $310. Buying online at least 48 hours ahead saves 10 percent.

Rules

E-bikes, including pedal-assist models, are not allowed on resort trails, except the Bob Cedar Trail. Bike rentals are available at the resort, and shops in Whitefish town also rent park bikes. Wear a full-face helmet and pads on the downhill trails.

Good to know

The bike park runs in summer from 10am to 5:30pm, weather and snow permitting. Check the hours page for opening dates. Call 406-862-2900 or email [email protected] with questions.
