About
Ride Kanuga is a downhill-focused mountain bike park on the grounds of the Kanuga conference centre in Hendersonville, North Carolina, close to Pisgah National Forest.
What to expect
The park has around a dozen downhill-specific trails with jump, flow and technical lines for beginners up to expert riders, plus climbing trails back to the top and a skills area near the trailhead. There is no lift, so riders pedal up or use an e-bike, which is allowed.
The on-site Adventure Center has a full-service bike shop, a mechanic and e-bike rentals, and lessons and clinics are offered. Trails are open seven days a week, sunrise to sunset, with day passes and memberships available, and lodging is available at Kanuga, including ride-in cabins.
