About
Panorama Mountain Resort runs Panorama Bike Park in the Purcell Mountains, about 20 minutes from Invermere. The Mile 1 Express high-speed quad serves about 380 m of vertical and 30 km of downhill trails.
Trails
The park has around 20 named downhill trails, from easy flow to steep technical lines. Outside the bike park, Panorama also has high alpine enduro, cross-country and Firehall trails for riders who like to pedal.
Rentals
Mountain Outfitters at the resort rents downhill bikes, cross-country bikes and full protective gear. Lessons are also offered through the resort. A lesson is a good idea if you are new to downhill bikes or want to work on jumps and steeper trails.
Good to know
In 2026 the bike park opened daily from June 26 to August 30, 10 am to 4 pm. An adult day ticket cost CA$89 and a half-day ticket (1:30 to 4 pm) cost CA$75, plus tax. Season passes are also sold. Buy tickets on the Panorama website or contact the resort by phone or email. The resort village has lodging and places to eat, so it works well for a weekend trip with friends or family. Dates can change, so check before you travel.
