Mottolino Bikepark Livigno
Alpine flow and downhill lines above duty-free Livigno
About
Mottolino Bikepark sits on the slopes above Livigno, a high-altitude resort in Lombardy’s Alta Valtellina near the Swiss border. A gondola from the base on Via Bondi takes riders up the mountain, and the bike-ready Yepi chairlift adds more uplift. The park runs from mid-June to late September.
There are about 14 trails graded blue, red and black, from a long, flowing signature line and beginner-friendly runs to old-school downhill tracks and natural singletrack. The Livigno daily bikepass also covers lifts in the Carosello 3000 and Sitas areas, which opens up plenty of enduro and all-mountain riding across the valley.
The base station has a rental centre with downhill, enduro and e-bikes plus protective gear, and bike schools are based there too. There is also a kids’ fun area. Free parking, duty-free shops, lakes and bike-friendly hotels make Livigno an easy choice for a riding holiday.
