About

Legacy Bike Park is a gravity bike park near Lakeside in Flathead County, Montana, on the west side of Flathead Lake. Legacy Bike Park uses a shuttle instead of a chairlift to get riders to the top.

How it works

A flatbed shuttle carries up to 20 riders at a time, with bikes on carriers. If you prefer, you can buy a pedal option and climb the uphill trail yourself.

Trails

The park has technical, flow and downhill trails. Trails are rated like a ski area, from green for easy riding to double black for committed riders. The full trail list is on the park website. Riders who are new to gravity riding should start on the green trails and build up from there.

Clinics

The park lists clinics on its website. Check there for dates and details.

Good to know

The park is about 15 minutes up a new access road from the highway turnoff. Follow the park signs. The park was open for the 2026 season and is now closed until next year. Ticket prices are on the website. Email [email protected] with questions. Glacier Cyclery in Whitefish rents bikes suitable for the park.
