Horseshoe Resort runs the Horseshoe Resort Bike Park in Horseshoe Valley, Oro-Medonte, north of Barrie. It is a lift-served park built around downhill riding.
Trails and lift
The Copeland Express lift carries riders and bikes up the hill. From the top, 14 graded and marked downhill trails run back to the base, from beginner flow lines to advanced terrain. The park focuses on downhill riding.
Rentals and lessons
The rental shop has downhill bike packages, cross-country bikes and protective gear. Instructors offer private lessons for first-timers and riders who want to step up. Kids can join the resort’s Mountain Bike Camp in summer.
Stay and events
The resort has on-site rooms and a Bike and Stay package, so you can ride two days in a row. It also hosts a summer Bike Fest.
Good to know
The bike park runs in summer; the 2026 season is now closed and the resort says it will reopen in 2027. Lift tickets need a CA$5 RFID card, and prices are plus HST. Buy tickets and rentals online or call the resort at 705-835-2790.
