About

Hilltop Ski Area sits on the Anchorage Hillside and becomes a bike park in summer. Hilltop Bike Park calls itself the northernmost bike park in North America, and it is only a short drive from downtown Anchorage.

Trails and features

A triple chairlift serves around eight or nine purpose-built trails. They range from beginner-friendly flow trails to advanced tech lines. There is also a skills progression area, an airbag zone for practising jumps and a pump track.

Tickets

A full-day bike park pass, valid from 1 pm to 8 pm, starts at $25. An evening pass from 4 pm to 8 pm starts at $18. A non-lift pass for riders who pedal up the service road starts at $10. The summer season pass starts at $300. Bike rentals are available.

Hilltop Bike School

The bike school offers private coaching for individuals, friends and families. Bike Park 101 is a one-time group clinic for new riders. Spoke Sisters runs women’s group clinics for ages 12 and up. There are also summer camps for kids.
