Bike park United States, North America

About

East Bluff Bike Park is a mountain bike park and trailside campground just east of Copper Harbor, Michigan, at the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. East Bluff Bike Park is built by trail builders Rock Solid Trail Contracting, with flowy, bermed descents, technical lines and a dedicated climbing trail on a 525-acre property – and the trails are free to ride.

What to expect at East Bluff Bike Park

  • Around 12 trails and 13 miles (21 km) of singletrack, mostly intermediate, with easy and difficult options
  • Flow descents such as Flo’Rion, Whipsaw and Summer School, and the technical Citrus Tech
  • Magic Carpet, a climbing trail that gets progressively harder, plus the remote Keweenaw Point route
  • A summer shuttle in a military-surplus truck, about 500+ vertical feet up East Bluff Road
  • More trails are being built, with plans for a much bigger network

Camping and cabins

Stay right by the trails: the campground has 25 primitive sites with picnic tables and fire rings (no hookups; potable water, a privy and a hand-pump well on site), plus rustic wood-heated cabins that also work for fat biking and cross-country skiing in winter.

Season and shuttle

The shuttle runs from late May to mid-October, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the afternoon (2025 schedule). Shuttle passes are reserved online; riders can always pedal up for free.
