Nonprofit trail center in the Bridgers with clinics, private lessons and rentals
About
Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is a nonprofit outdoor center in Bridger Canyon, about 17 miles north of Bozeman and next to Bridger Bowl. In summer it offers Mountain Bike Lessons in Bozeman on trails across its 500 acres in the Bridger Range.
Clinics and series
Two-hour evening clinics cover an intro to mountain biking, Fundamentals I and II, and a rocks and rolls session. Some dates are women’s clinics. A four-week Skill Builder series runs on Sunday evenings. The full-day Find Your Flow clinic for women is taught by PMBIA-certified instructors.
Private lessons and guided rides
Private lessons are for riders aged 10 and up, for one or two riders, on weekdays and weekends. A three-hour Private Mountain Bike Adventure takes up to four guests on rides of 3 to 20 miles. Full-suspension rental bikes can be added to clinics and lessons.
Qualifications
Crosscut’s instructors are PSIA-certified, and its Find Your Flow clinic is led by certified PMBIA instructors.
