Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort is a lodge built around cycling at the foot of Pikes Peak, between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. It is one of the few places in the state that calls itself a bicycle resort, which makes it an obvious pick for a Bike Hotel in Colorado Springs.
Bike facilities
Nearly all rooms are on the ground floor, and guests can keep their bikes securely in the room on an in-room bike rack. There is an outdoor bike wash station, and the lodge runs weekly guided group rides year-round. Bike rentals are not offered on site; the lodge recommends local shops for regular and e-bike rentals.
Trails nearby
Red Rock Canyon Open Space, with a mix of technical mountain bike trails and smoother paths, is close by. Riders can also explore the Midland Trail between Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, and the wider trail networks of the Pikes Peak region, including Palmer Park and the Captain Jack’s area.
