Bikepark Thunersee – Trail Network around Lake Thun
Community-built trails, bike park and pump tracks around Lake Thun – support them with a Trailpass
About
Bikepark Thunersee is the association that builds, maintains and promotes legal bike trails and infrastructure around Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland. Rather than one single park, it looks after a network of trails and facilities across the region, and works with landowners and other trail users to keep them open.
The trails include the Blueme Trail in Sigriswil, the Goldwheel and Rabenfluh trails above Thun, the Grütsch Trail in Lauterbrunnen, the Heartbeat Trail in Beatenberg and the Weryhorny, Old T-Bar and Alp trails in the Bikepark Wiriehorn in the Diemtigtal, plus the Rugen Skillscenter in Interlaken and pump tracks in Lerchenfeld and Thierachern.
Uplift options include the bike shuttle from Thun to Goldiwil on weekends, the Wiriehorn cable cars in summer and the Niederhornbahn to Beatenberg all year. Much of the trail work is financed by the Trailpass – every rider who uses the trails is asked to buy one. The association also runs the Bikefest Thunersee every June.
