Bike Park Pohorje Maribor

Bike Park Pohorje sits right on the edge of Maribor, Slovenia’s second city. Riders load their bikes onto the Pohorje gondola at the lower station on Pohorska ulica, and the Poštela and Radvanje chairlifts and a smaller tow lift cover other parts of the hill.

The park has around 15 trails across two zones. The easy Family Line and the long Flow Line suit newer riders. Red trails such as Jump Line, Red Fox and Stream Line step things up, and the black runs include the historic World Cup downhill track. Newer additions include enduro trails and a jump line.

Beginners and children can learn in the Skills Park, which has its own conveyor lift, and the scenic Panorama Trail suits e-bikes. The main bike season runs from April to November. The city centre, its restaurants and the Drava riverfront are close by, which makes it an easy weekend trip.
