Big Sky Bike Park – Lift-Served Riding at Big Sky Resort, Montana
Summer lift-served bike park at Big Sky Resort
About
Big Sky Resort is one of the largest ski areas in the United States, south of Bozeman in southwest Montana. In summer, Big Sky Bike Park opens its lifts to mountain bikers.
Riding
The bike park offers lift-served downhill and trail riding on the slopes below Lone Mountain. Riders of different abilities can find suitable trails, so ask at the base about which runs fit your level. The wider Big Sky area also has a large network of cross-country and trail riding, so you can mix park laps with longer days on singletrack.
Getting there
Big Sky is about an hour’s drive from Bozeman, and the resort has lodging at the base. It works well as part of a longer trip that includes Bozeman’s trails or Yellowstone National Park.
Tickets, lessons and rentals
Bike park tickets, rentals and any lessons are sold through the resort. Check the Big Sky Resort website for current prices and programs before you travel.
