Guided Mountain Biking in the New River Gorge – ACE Adventure Resort

ACE Adventure Resort is a large outdoor resort near Oak Hill, West Virginia, on the rim of the New River Gorge. It offers Guided Mountain Biking in the New River Gorge on its own trail network and on the trails of the lower gorge.

Guided rides

The half-day guided ride lasts about three and a half hours on ACE’s private trails and is open to riders aged eight and up. The full-day ride explores the Lower New River Gorge and is recommended for experienced riders aged 12 and over. A short evening ride to ACE’s Concho Overlook is also offered.

Clinics and rentals

An Experienced Rider Clinic led by ACE guides helps riders work on technique. Mountain bike rentals start at $19 for a full day and are available all year. Trail maps are handed out at the Welcome Center.

The resort

ACE covers about 1,500 acres with dozens of trails. It also runs other outdoor trips, so it works as a base for a multi-sport visit.
