Flow, jumps, natural trails and downhill with two lifts in the Bavarian Alps

Bike park Germany, Europe

About

The SCOTT Bikepark Oberammergau lies in the heart of the Ammergau Alps in Bavaria, about 20 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and 90 km from Munich. Its motto is trail variety: endless flow, excavated jumps and plenty of hand-built and natural trails, from easy to difficult. Two lifts with the Easyloop system take you to the top.

The trails include the 2 km Flowtrail (190 m descent), the rooty Wurzelsepp, the tight switchbacks of the Switchbacker, the playful Little Hobbit, a jumpline with a pro line and trick jump, the steep SCOTT Fichtenschreck downhill and the elevated Holzwurm wooden trail. There is also a rookie course for beginners.

Riding technique coaching – group courses for beginners, trail riders, advanced riders, kids, ladies and racers, plus private coaching – is run by Bikeschule Ammergau. Downhill and enduro bikes (SCOTT Gambler and Ransom) and protective gear can be rented from partner Sport-Zentrale Papistock nearby. At the valley station you will find the bike park shop and a café and bike bar.
