Bike-Friendly Inn in East Burke – The Inn at Mountain View Farm

The Inn at Mountain View Farm is a historic 440-acre farm estate on Darling Hill whose guests receive free Kingdom Trails passes, and a classic Bike-Friendly Inn in East Burke. The inn sits right at the Darling Hill trailhead, so Kingdom Trails is literally in the backyard.

Trails nearby

You can ride from the door onto well-known Kingdom Trails such as Pound Cake, Fence Line and Coronary, and miles of the network cross the farm itself. Burke Mountain, with lift-access downhill riding for every level, is about 10 minutes away.

Bike packages

The inn runs a mid-week Kingdom Trails bike package from May to October. It includes a Classic Room, a country buffet breakfast and two adult Kingdom Trails tickets, and was listed at $179 per night plus tax.

Rooms

Rooms are in the restored farm buildings, including the brick historic creamery. The estate also has a farm animal sanctuary that guests can visit, which is a nice rest-day option.

Good to know
