About
Hardwood Ski and Bike is a year-round trail centre in Oro-Medonte, north of Barrie. In summer the trails are open to mountain bikers of every level, and in winter the same network is used for skiing and fat biking. The lodge is the hub for passes, rentals and programs.
Trails
The centre has more than 80 km of singletrack and doubletrack. Loops range from gentle beginner rides to technical terrain, and every loop starts and finishes at the lodge. This makes it easy to plan a short ride or a full day.
Rentals and service
Bike rentals are available at the lodge, and the on-site service shop handles repairs. Trail passes are sold by the day, as six-packs, or as a season pass.
Programs
Hardwood runs lessons, clinics, guided rides, kids programs, racing programs and a summer camp. It also hosts women’s MTB days and group outings for schools and companies.
Good to know
