About

Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park is a ski hill south of Grande Prairie that turns into a gravity bike park in summer. Nitehawk Bike Park is the main lift-served riding option in northern Alberta, with trails cut through boreal forest.

Lift tickets

Lift tickets are sold on site during bike park hours. Riders 13 and older pay for a full or half day, and there are cheaper tickets for kids 12 and under. Punch passes in 6-for-5 and 12-for-10 bundles suit locals who ride often.

Rentals

Nitehawk rents hardtail bikes for adults and kids, plus full-suspension bikes in sizes small to extra large. Full-face helmets are also available. A credit card deposit may be needed when you rent.

Camps and lessons

The park lists summer bike camps and lessons on its website, which helps younger riders or anyone new to lift-served riding.

Good to know

The bike park runs in summer and closes for the season in the fall. Riding after hours is not allowed, and you must complete a waiver before riding. A campground nearby makes a weekend trip easy. Check current hours on the Nitehawk website or call 780-532-6637.
