About

Whistler Mountain Bike Park is the lift-served bike park run by Whistler Blackcomb above Whistler Village. Whistler Mountain Bike Park has more than 4,900 vertical feet of lift-serviced trails spread over four zones, from wide green flow trails to pro-only lines.

Four zones

The Fitzsimmons Zone is the main area off the Whistler Village Gondola and Fitzsimmons chair, with green, blue, black and double-black trails. The Garbanzo Zone adds roughly 2,700 vertical feet of steeper terrain. The Creekside Zone rides down to Whistler Creekside. The Peak Zone tops out at 2,182 m and needs a separate Peak Ride ticket, with daily rider numbers capped.

Lessons and kids programs

The bike school runs Intro to Park, a 3-hour group lesson for ages 17+ that includes the rental, armour and lift pass. Custom Clinics give a private coach to one rider or a group of up to 4. DFX Kids (ages 5 to 12) and DFX Teen (13 to 16) are full-day lessons with lunch included. Private lessons need to be booked at least 5 days ahead.

Tickets and rentals

Day tickets, multi-day passes and season passes are sold online, with lower prices in the fall season. Downhill bikes and armour can be rented in the village, with discounts for booking several days ahead.

Good to know

The 2026 season opened on May 15 with the Fitzsimmons Zone. The regular season ran June 13 to September 7, followed by a fall season to October 12. Check the Whistler Blackcomb website for current dates, trail status and to book tickets, rentals and lessons.
