New jump lines, pump tracks and flow trails in an IMBA Trail Town
About
Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park is the hub of a new trail network in Mason City, north Iowa. Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park was funded by a $4.5 million Destination Iowa grant and built by Rock Solid Trail Contracting. It soft-opened in November 2025 and had its grand opening in spring 2026.
The bike park
The park at 1500 Elm Drive has more than 5 miles of built singletrack over more than 10 acres. It has flowing lines, technical features, progressive jump lines and a kid-friendly pump track. Professional builders shaped the jumps, berms and pump tracks.
