About
Cone Park is a city-run outdoor park in Sioux City, best known for its winter tubing hill. Cone Park Bike Park opened in June 2024 and turned the hill into a year-round destination after about three years of planning and $3 million in funding.
Trails
The park has about 10.5 miles of soft-surface mountain bike trails. Trail maps show the difficulty of each route, and the network covers beginner to expert riders. Mellow climbing trails take riders back up the hills.
Skills features
Ramps and features near the lodge offer several lines to test your skills before you head out on the longer trails. The local Siouxland composite mountain bike team has used the park for practice.
Rentals
Bikes can be rented at the park, which makes it an easy stop if you are travelling without your own bike. Check the park website for current rental options.
Good to know
