Massanutten Bike Park – Lift-Served Riding in the Shenandoah Valley
Two lifts, beginner and technical trails, and learn-to-ride packages
About
Massanutten Resort near Harrisonburg is a four-season resort in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. In the warmer months Massanutten Bike Park runs two lifts that serve trails for new and experienced riders.
Two sides of the mountain
The Creekside Lift serves the Low-Side trails, which are gentle, flowing green runs for beginners. The Peak Express Lift serves the High-Side trails, which are steeper, faster and more technical. A full-day ticket is $55 for both sides or $40 for the Low Side only.
Lessons
The Learn to Ride Bike Park package costs $99. It includes a half-day group lesson, a three-hour Low-Side ticket, a rental bike, insurance and protective gear. Riders who want one-on-one help can book a two-hour private lesson for $110, with extra riders at $40 each.
Rentals
The resort’s Bike Shop rents standard mountain bikes. Online registration lets you check in early. Waivers must be signed in person, and minors need a parent or guardian.
Good to know
In 2026 the park ran Friday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, with closing day on November 1. Three-hour tickets are sold in person only. Call the Bike Shop to book private lessons.
