Mulberry Gap is a mountain bike basecamp in the hills north of Ellijay, Georgia, close to the Pinhoti Trail and the Cohutta trails. It is best known for its cabins, camping and Mountain Bike Shuttles near Ellijay.
Shuttles
Shuttles run Thursday to Monday at 10am, with extra times at 11am, 12pm and 2pm when booked ahead. There are no shuttles on Tuesday or Wednesday. The drive itself has no direct charge. Instead, a required trail and route orientation has a sliding-scale fee based on the trailhead and group size. The current fee schedule is posted on the shuttle price page.
Stay and ride
Mulberry Gap has 11 creekside cabins and 11 campsites for tents, rooftop tents, vans and RVs. You can ride from the property onto nearby trails, which makes it an easy base for a long weekend. Day passes and parking are also available.
Good to know
Weekend and holiday stays have a two-night minimum. Book shuttles and lodging online, or contact the reservations team by phone or email. Mulberry Gap does not list bike rentals, so bring your own bike.
