Windrock Bike Park – Shuttled Downhill in Oliver Springs, Tennessee
Shuttle-served downhill trails on Windrock Mountain, open year-round
About
Windrock Bike Park sits on Windrock Mountain near Oliver Springs, west of Knoxville. Windrock Bike Park is a shuttled downhill mountain bike park, so trucks take you and your bike up the mountain and you ride purpose-built gravity trails back down.
Passes
A day shuttle pass costs $55, a three-day pass $150 and a season pass $450. You can buy passes online or on site. The park is open year-round, 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday to Monday, and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It also closes on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and when snow or ice make the shuttle roads unsafe.
Shop, rentals and clinics
The Gravity House at Windrock is the on-site bike shop, selling parts, gear and accessories, with mechanics who know gravity bikes well. A fleet of Specialized rental bikes is available and can be reserved online. The park also runs clinics, including a jump clinic for $80 and a longer progression clinic.
Good to know
The terrain is aimed at riders who are comfortable on downhill or enduro bikes, so bring full protective gear. Windrock Park also has a large off-road vehicle trail system, so expect other users on the mountain. Check the park’s Instagram for closures before you drive out, especially in winter.
