Guided singletrack tours, shuttles and rentals at the tip of the Keweenaw
About
Keweenaw Adventure Company is based in the village of Copper Harbor at the tip of Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula and runs Guided Mountain Bike Tours in Copper Harbor, a mountain bike shuttle and bike rentals.
Singletrack tours
The 2.5-hour Copper Harbor Singletrack Adventure leaves daily at 10 am and 2 pm. The guide sets the route to the group: beginners get basic instruction on easy trails near the village, while experienced riders can head onto intermediate and expert cross-country and gravity trails. Routes can take in Lake Superior shoreline, inland lakes, waterfalls and old-growth forest. The price is $95 with a rental bike and shuttle ride, or $75 with your own bike or a kids’ bike. Tours need at least two riders. Guides hold Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid training.
Shuttle and rentals
The shuttle runs from the shop to the top of Brockway Mountain or the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge daily from 11 am to 5:30 pm, with waits of no more than about 15 minutes. A one-day unlimited pass costs $50, two days $90 and three days $125. The rental fleet includes enduro downhill, full-suspension trail, hardtail and kids’ bikes.
