Bay Area, Santa Cruz, Downieville and Tahoe tours with pick-up and demo bikes
About
Norcal Flow Expeditions is a small mountain bike tour company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. It runs Guided Mountain Bike Tours in the Bay Area and further afield, led by riders who want to share their favourite Northern California trails.
Where they ride
Day tours cover San Francisco, Pacifica, Half Moon Bay and the Santa Cruz area. Longer trips head to Nevada City, Downieville, Lake Tahoe and the high Sierra. Multi-day vacation packages are also on offer for riders who want to tick off several areas in one trip.
What is included
Tours include free pick-up and drop-off, and demo bikes are available for every tour, so you do not need to bring your own. Rides are tailored to the group, from beginner to expert. The website also lists lessons and demo bike rentals.
Good to know
Bay Area riding is possible most of the year, while Tahoe and Downieville trips depend on snow and are best in summer and fall. Prices are not published online. Use the booking form on the website to request a date and get a quote.
