About
Looking for a bike hotel in Commezzadura? Hotel Genzianella is set up for mountain bikers, with secure bike storage, a bike wash and bike rental.
Hotel Genzianella is a three-star hotel in Commezzadura, in the heart of Val di Sole in western Trentino. It sits just a few steps from the Daolasa lift, so the bike park and the Dolomiti di Brenta ski area are practically on the doorstep.
The hotel runs a dedicated bikehotel offer with a bike deposit, a bike wash and bike-care products for quick maintenance. Guests can borrow the hotel’s own non-electric mountain bikes free of charge, and staff are happy to suggest routes, with maps and an information corner to help plan the day. For a specialist mechanic or other bike types, the hotel works with Centro Bike Val di Sole, about 500 metres away.
Val di Sole is famous for the steep, rooty Black Snake World Cup downhill track at Daolasa, but there is far more to it: flowing bike park lines, natural enduro trails and gentle valley riding along the Noce river. Genzianella is a convenient, relaxed base for lift-served days, and certified local guides can show you the best of the valley.

Best rides from Commezzadura
- Bike Park Val di Sole – served by the eight-seat Daolasa–Val Mastellina gondola, which starts in Daolasa. Lines include the easier, flowing White Wolf, the medium Wild Grizzly, the rebuilt Golden Eagle and the expert-only Black Snake World Cup downhill.
- Four Cross track – a 600 m track at the bottom of the park, packed with jumps and berms and free to ride. Good for skills practice between gondola laps.
- Trail La Preda – a natural singletrack that drops 1,261 m from the top of the lift, at about 2,039 m, down through Val Meledrio. Enduro-style riding for confident riders.
- Trail Folgarida – another long natural descent from the top of the gondola through the Folgarida woods, with plenty of roots and rocks.
- Val di Sole cycle path – more than 30 km of easy valley riding along the river, with a bike-carrying train to bring you back up the valley.
Getting to Commezzadura
Verona airport is the closest, about 160 km away, or roughly two and a half hours by car. Bergamo is around 250 km away, and the Milan airports are farther still. From any of them, the easy public-transport route is a train to Trento, then the Trento–Malè–Mezzana railway, which stops at Daolasa beside the gondola. That last leg takes about two hours.
When to ride
Valley and forest riding is good from about April to September. The bike park is lift-served for a shorter window: in 2026 it ran from 27 June to 13 September. A bike hotel in Commezzadura is perfect for late-summer riding, when the trails are at their driest. The valley also hosted the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, so expect busy weeks around big race dates.
