Morzine Bike Park – Pleney and Super Morzine, Portes du Soleil, France
The legendary Pleney downhill and the gateway to the Portes du Soleil
About
Morzine Bike Park (Morzine-Pleney) is the bike park of Morzine in the French Alps and the gateway to the Portes du Soleil – one of the biggest lift-served mountain bike areas in Europe. Its famous Pleney downhill track has been ridden since 1997, and the park links directly to Les Gets and the rest of the Portes du Soleil.
Riding at Morzine Bike Park
The park offers more than 20 km of marked trails and around 1,500 m of vertical descent, served by the Pleney gondola, the Charniaz and Super Morzine chairlifts and conveyor lifts for beginners.
- Green and blue trails to build confidence, including the Chevreuil link to Les Gets
- Natural, technical enduro trails through the forest
- Black runs, including the legendary Pleney downhill track and the new Woodride line
- Skills Bike Park for kids, beginners and adults, with progressive features
Season, passes and rentals
The bike park usually opens in mid-June and runs until mid-September (in 2026, 12 June to 13 September, with a pre-opening weekend in early June and late “After Pleney” evening sessions in July and August). Riding the trails is free – a pass is only needed for the lifts. Choose a Morzine single-sector pass (single rides or books of 6 or 12) or a Portes du Soleil MTB Pass covering all the bike parks of the area for 5 hours up to several days. Downhill and enduro bikes and protection can be rented in Morzine town and at the bottom of Pleney.
