Marius Stratila

Born and raised in Brașov, I’ve spent most of my life exploring the mountains around my hometown, first as an enthusiast and later as a mountain guide. Mountain biking has become a big part of my life, and I love sharing the trails, mountains and places I know so well with other riders.

I founded Massif Experience in 2017 with a simple idea: to help people discover the Carpathians on two wheels, beyond the usual tourist routes. Today, my business focuses on guided MTB and e-MTB tours, from local trails around Brașov and Postăvaru to multi-day adventures across Romania.

For me, guiding is about more than finding the right trail. It’s about sharing local knowledge, adapting each ride to the group, and making sure everyone gets the most out of their time in the mountains.
