Xanthi MTB Park
Natural all-mountain and downhill trails above Xanthi
About
Xanthi MTB Park is a network of natural mountain bike trails in the hills just above the town of Xanthi, in the foothills of the Rhodope mountains in north-eastern Greece. Built and looked after by local riders, it has become one of the best-known riding spots in Thrace.
What to expect
The park has around 23 mountain bike trails with about 34 km of riding and close to 1,300 m of vertical, starting from trailheads up to roughly 1,380 m. Most trails are all-mountain and downhill lines: expect rocky, natural singletrack with berms, jumps, drops and rock gardens, plus a few flowing machine-built lines.
Trails range from blue flow runs to black, downhill-only lines with gap jumps. The area can be shuttled by road, and e-bikes are allowed.
Xanthi MTB Park also hosts the Xanthi MTB Revival, a round of the Enduro Greek Series.
