Les 2 Alpes Bike Park
Huge glacier-to-valley descents with 2,300 m of vertical
About
Les 2 Alpes runs one of the biggest lift-served bike parks in the French Alps. Trails start high on the glacier at about 3,200 m and drop all the way to Venosc in the valley at around 900 m, so you get roughly 2,300 m of descent and more than 100 km of marked riding.
The Jandri Express gondolas, the Diable lift and the Venosc gondola get you uphill. The network has about 29 graded runs from green to elite, mostly downhill and freeride lines, plus enduro tracks and dedicated e-MTB routes. The Venosc sector opens in spring, the whole park runs from mid-June to late August, and a smaller autumn opening lasts until early November.
Beginners and families have a free Easy to Ride zone with a conveyor, a pump track and a learning area. Experienced riders head for the long, technical black and elite descents. Shapers and bike patrollers look after the trails every day, and bike-wash stations sit at the main lift bases.
